My Story

My Story

I am excited to work with you in finding or creating the path towards the kind of life you want. Are you trying to find more time, get organized, improve a relationship, develop or reach goals? Does life sometimes get in the way of your plans only to leave you feeling frustrated and ready to throw in the towel? You say to yourself, what will get me back on track to achieving my goals? A Life Coach can partner with you, to create ways of getting out of the rut, to inspire your creative thinking so that you may design an action plan that could actually produce the results you have longed for, but failed to achieve.

I have been there myself folks. The alarm goes off, you drag yourself out of bed, commute to your job, back home to the same old routine night after night only to go to bed, get back up, and do it all over again. That’s great if your passion still exists, but what if it doesn’t. Let’s work together to get it back!

In my years of social work, I have worked with clients in overcoming significant problems. For me, the process is successful once the person I am working with discovers how to thrive. Through experience, I know that minor changes are reliable routes to lasting change. However, having support and accountability with a Life Coach is crucial to your success.

I began the journey of finding myself as most of us do, right after high school. Trying to decide my entire life at 18 was a bit overwhelming to me and I didn’t really know what I wanted to do with my life. After several hurdles, challenges and jobs (some great, some not so much) I returned to college not once, not twice but three times to complete my academic goals. I then went on to careers and a life that molded me into what I found to be my passion….working with folks to find theirs!

Myself personally, I am a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and professional. I have worked beside my husband farming row crops in the fields of Missouri, I have counseled addicts in an inpatient rehab, advocated for the mentally and physically handicapped working for the Missouri Department of Mental Health, taught young children in grade school, parented, loved and cared for my family as my own transition occurred. Eventually I found coaching and was quite intrigued, so I studied with the Institute of Life Coach Training, passed the test to become a Board Certified Coach with the Center for Credentialing and Education, and created my coaching business in 2012. I use a holistic approach of coaching utilizing the twelve dimensions of wellness because I believe that all the dimensions of our life are interconnected and one affects the other. Therefore, if one is disharmonious the others suffer as well.

I have arrived at my life of authentic happiness and you can too! Call or email so we can discuss the creation of your happy life.
